Fireworks may be discharged in the city limits of Brookland between the hours of 10 am & 10 pm on June 29, June 30, July 1, July 2, July 3, and July 5. Fireworks may be discharged between the hours of 10am and will be extended until 12:30am (of the following day) on July 4.

On behalf of the City of Brookland, Chief Moore and Captain Settlemoir would like to thank everyone for attending the open house for the new Police Department. The Police Department represents both the City and its citizens, and this achievement would not have been possible without the support of the people and leadership of our community. The Brookland Police Department strives to provide the highest level of safety for our residents and to ensure the security of our schools.
