Brookland Utilities is accepting applications for utility worker. Performs general maintenance of water and wastewater systems and various other public works duties. Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, pass background check and drug screening prior to employment. Work schedule is 4-10 hour days. 100% of family insurance is paid by the city. Must be able to be on call 24/7. No previous experience is required but is preferred. Wages will start at $15 per hour or based on experience. Licensed water/wastewater operators are welcome to apply. Dump truck, excavator, skidsteer, tractor and/or other heavy equipment experience is a plus. Starting hourly pay is $15 per hours, but can be increased based on experience and equipment knowledge. Work schedule is 4-10 hour days. Benefits include 100% of family insurance is paid by the city, retirement and holidays off. Drug testing and physical examination is required.
